The Abenaki People of the State of Vermont
invite you to join us in a four day celebration
of our deep rooted history, culture and
tradition  Learn about our past and present
through a series of demonstrations,
discussions and films.  Stimulate all of your
senses as you walk through a seventeenth
century Abenaki encampment, taste our
food,  see crafts demonstrations and talk to
our artists, listen to our Traditions music,
songs, stories and watch our dancers.
There will also be a daily guest appearance
from our Mohawk cousins from the other
side of Bitabagw, Abenaki for The Lake in
Between (known today as Lake Champlain).
ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center &
Leahy Campus make the perfect backdrop
for this celebration of our culturally rich
heritage.  There will be ongoing indoor and
outdoor activities for the whole family.
